The electronic age represents many opportunities to make payments easier and faster for society across different geographies and the ability to enter new channels. However this expansion of the payments supply chain also introduces more possible points of attack. The compromise of card data represents a threat to security of payments, reputation and overall profitability. In this presentation we will look at the ways in which Visa Europe and the wider cards industry is addressing and protecting against this threat.
