After an early research career whose highlights included developing a detection system for explosives, Neil joined the card payments industry.
With 11 years experience in Visa Europe, he has been involved in several key industry initiatives, including the European rollout of EMV chip & PIN, and implementation of 3D-Secure for the emerging e-commerce channel.
Having moved to a directly risk management focussed role in Visa Europe six years ago, he managed the Fraud Prevention and Analysis team, responsible for helping member banks across 37 markets manage their fraud performance.
His current role is Head of Risk Projects where he is responsible for delivering a portfolio of risk management products and services for Visa Europe’s member banks. |
