Owain is currently working as a consultant having establishing text based real time alerting as a fraud prevention tool in the UK .

Owain was previously Head of Northern Europe for Mondex, the electronic cash product acquired by Mastercard.

Owain chairs both the UK Smart Government Forum and the UK Purchasing Card Forum and is a member of the UK Fraud Advisory Panel.
